Now today I can't comment on anyone's blog. I can read your blog, but I can't comment. Apparently this is only happening to "select" users. Well, lucky me...I'm one of those special users. Do I win a prize?
Seriously, I have never had issues with Blogger until the last few weeks. It's bringing me down!!
That's all - just wanted to share my frustration. If you are sharing my same frustration leave me a comment....oh wait, you can't!!
UPDATE: Well, as some of you have already figured out. You can leave an Anonymous comment by selecting anonymous vs. google under the comment profile. But my normal ability to comment is still not working!
I can't either.

Thankfully I haven't had any issues today. All this has me very nervous about loosing my whole blog, considering moving to another blog service. But I've tried wordpress in the past and I'm just too dumb to figure it out. I speak HTML not whatever language wordpress uses.
ReplyDeleteHmmm I haven't even had time to comment today so let's see . . .
ReplyDeleteSorry that Blogger is launching a personal campaign against you in the social-media world. Hadn't seen any issues either until the recent hiccups. I'll just imagine the comment you would have left on my blog, and assume it was witty, insightful, humorous, thought-provoking, etc. That's how I like to picture my own comments. I'd rather not pay attention to reality :)
ReplyDeleteYou know, that explains why I couldn't comment on someone's blog yesterday! I thought it was a hiccup in the wireless. Let's see if it lets me leave this one. Either way, what a huge PITA. I hope it comes back for you soon!
ReplyDeleteI am not leaving this comment.
ReplyDeleteOh man, I've had lots of issues lately, hope that exempts me from this one!
ReplyDeleteIt goes through spurts where I can or can't comment...but I'm going to get my blog printed into a blurb book for fear of losing my stuff!
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm gonna try to leave this comment again. I feel your pain, and I am one seriously annoyed monkey, too!!
ReplyDelete(this is Pahla, the average athlete, Blogger hates me, too)
I was kinda worried about you cause you guys live in tornado alley. I was just hoping you guys were ok!
ReplyDeleteTwo Words: WordPress (OK 1 word but it's 2 words together)
ReplyDeleteAlthough I had issues leaving comments and just friended people on Facebook or Twitter and left them comments there.
I am sorry that you are having problems with Blogger. I know that sucks!
ReplyDeleteI will just send ya hugs!
I have been having issue's too. Very frustrating and your not alone.
ReplyDeleteWhen I go to make a comment I sign in under my goggle account but I uncheck keep signed in. That has helped me to leave comments. Maybe that will help.
I don't know if you read Jamoosh over at the last mile lounge or not, but he was kind enough to offer a way out of that for most of us. For your own blog, go to the dashboard, pull down settings, go to the comments tab, and then select "full page" option...this will make it so that others can comment on your blog. Hopefully word will get around for everyone!
ReplyDeleteGlad it's not just me who's struggling with leaving comments, and it's only on some blogs.

I noticed you'd commented anonymously on my blog the other day. Now I know why. I'd be annoyed if I was a "select user" as well.
ReplyDeleteThe monkey picture is great though.
That is annoying. I miss you!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, that monkey is going to cut a b! He scares me a little.
ReplyDeleteYou should win a prize! Blogger has really thrown a curveball at all of us. I hope you can comment again soon.
ReplyDeleteI am able to comment but Blogger still seems to be having issues. My link to "Followers" on my blog is blank even though I have followers, it isn't showing up on blog. I noticed it on several other blogs too, including yours. So frustrating! Hope these issues get resolved soon.
ReplyDeleteI am having the same issue with most blogs too. booooo :(
