Doesn't get much better!

I always did my marathons at the end of tri season so that I didn't have to worry so much about the other sports. But if I were you, I'd keep a long ride of about 2 hrs. in there, along with about 2 other shorter rides, just to keep the fitness up. Swimming, you can get away with two 2,000ish workouts/week to maintain.misszippyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16816276167373260149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8441313713715572662.post-35993107938246553192011-04-05T10:01:13.414-05:002011-04-05T10:01:13.414-05:00Sounds like you guys had a good time at the ballpa...Sounds like you guys had a good time at the ballpark. 91 degrees?! Once I get into my tri training, it is hard to run more than 4 days a week b/c I am usually doing 3 bikes/runs/swims per week. So, to add more runs is just too much for me. But, everyone is different, so you'll probably just have to sit down and figure out how much training time you have or want to commit to per week, then go from there!
I hope that helps!Aimeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17553067128072502179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8441313713715572662.post-30422749550994264662011-04-04T20:26:06.042-05:002011-04-04T20:26:06.042-05:00Oh my that hail is huge!!!!!

This is the main difference between elites and the rest of the world. The other thing to note is that there is a high transferrance between cycling and running and cycling is usually less impactful on your body. Once you get closer to the "event" in question, specificity needs to be observed (training similar to the race conditions). Sorry for the ramble - email me if you want more clarity.RockStarTrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01819672184842226835noreply@blogger.com
